What a Horrible Day

So my day started off with Adam getting a sliver, greenie spilling my cereal all over the cat, and Adam crying because greenie spilt the cereal on him. Adam then proceeded to fall over backwards and start crying again. When I got to work I realized I had gotten dirt on my pants and then daycare called about the whole potty training adventure we had embarked on. We have decided to put it on hold since he had 6 accidents before 11am…he is so close to being ready. Then I had bought a new pair of Dansko shoes on Friday and one of the button covers fell off so I had to take them back and get a new pair today. On a good note Leevi got his promotion!!! The bad side of this is that we are having to figure out how we are going to cover his time during Christmas as he was transferred to a different shift on the Fire Dept. Then our dog,Sierra, attacked one of our cats for no reason and she has been bleeding under her chin as well as something is wrong with her eye. So that is my day in a nutshell and I am glad that it is over.

On another note I bought myself 2 nice new computers for my growing love of photography.

I have been taking pictures for a friend at work since her newest addition was born. I wasn’t thrilled with these pictures but the kiddos weren’t in the best mood so I did the best that we could. I also need to fix the lighting when I have people on the floor rather than at chair height. These are with no editing.

Black and white…

Adam always wants to go downstairs to take pictures with me but the problem is that he hears the click from the camera and runs around to the back to look at the picture which results in lots of blurry pictures :)

Okay so here is my ghetto studio…

I have been telling people I know that I am starting this venture and have a ton of people that want me to take pictures. I am really excited to explore something that I am so passionate about!

The lighting still isn’t what I want…grrr.

Studio

I am putting together a make shift studio so I can take pictures for people. The lighting needs a little work. I used my new remote and tripod for the photo too :)

OCD Child

Sometimes I wonder about my child and his need for everything to be just right. At times this need drives Leevi and I crazy.

- trash must go in the trash right at that moment

- napkins only get used once and must go in the trash

-when his hands are dirty he wants them clean even though he isn’t finished with what he is doing and his hands will just need to be cleaned again

-he likes to line things up and they have to be facing the same direction (his fire trucks have to be facing the same way or his toys lined up on the edge of the tub need to be facing the same way)

-he has to help Leevi or I take the trash out or we have a complete melt down.

-At daycare when its time to go he has to put all the toys away even if that means taking toys away from kids that are still there.

On another note he is the most polite 2 year I have come across…he always says please, thank you, and your welcome.

I think he also takes better care of our animals than Leevi and I. Once again there are melt downs in our house if he doesn’t get to let Sierra in and out, doesn’t get to feed her, and doesn’t get to feed the cats.

I just love my child so much and he is at such a fun age…his personality is developing more and more every day.

More potty training

- Tonight he was pretending that his washcloth was a snake

- I was talking to my mom the other night and Adam came upstairs telling me that he had been checking his email. I asked him who had emailed him and he said daddy

- He also says that he works at daycare or at home on the computer

I love that he is starting to pretend…the things he comes up with are so cute!

Halloween

Our Halloween festivities started with a fall festival at Jarrod’s school.

These are my attachments when we go any where…its like having twins!

I didn’t take any pictures but we went to Adam’s daycare for a fall festival. Then we were off to the goblin walk that the city puts on every year.

Then on Halloween we went to the church carnival in Eaton.
