Family

It was so nice to have my family here over the first three weeks. Everyone helped out so much and we are so appreciative for everything they did. It was great that my grandma was able to come and meet Adam as well. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again in August!

It's a boy!

Adam Allen was born at 5:39am Friday. He weighed 7 pounds and was 21 inches long. The delivery ended up being 22 long hours and ended in a c-section. Adam and I are both healthy and doing well. Here are some pictures of our adorable son...

Finally...

So I went to the doctor today and lost 1 pound. Again there was no change and they put me on the monitor to make sure the baby was doing okay. Everything looked good and they are going to induce tomorrow morning. I am excited and nervous all at once but so happy that the day is finally here.

The Weekend...

Here is the most current picture of my belly

Daffney came to visit us with the hopes of seeing a baby but that obviously didn't happen. She came last Wed. and left this morning so she could see her sister graduate high school tomorrow. We had some fun with a watermelon which by the way tasted wonderful!

Went to the doctor last Friday and yet again no change. They made me make another appt. before inducing so my next appt. is this Wed. I am hoping that something happens before then but if not I am hoping they will induce by the end of the week because I am ready to be done. I think back to when I said I was uncomfortable and it doesn't even compare to how uncomfortable I am feeling now. I guess the baby will come when it is ready I just wish that was now...
