Winter Time

Here is our fake tree....we need to fix the star obviously :) You will notice that there is no tree skirt...it is in the corner because the cats like to run and slide on it, we have retarded cats!

First Trimester!

Well the first trimester has come and gone...hopefully I will start feeling better now. This weekend I have felt pretty good which has been so nice especially since we had people over for our Thanksgiving...Leevi works on Thanksgiving. I am barely starting to show...it is so crazy. I think I can start believing it now especially with the first trimester behind me.

Week 12

This week Baby weighs one ounce (28.35 gm) and measures three-inches long (7.62 cm), crown to rump. That makes him the same size as a standard, adult Playmobil figurine.

Doctor Appt.

We went to the doctor yesterday and everything looked good. I have lost 4 pounds but she said that was normal in the first trimester. We got to hear the heartbeat for the first time which was awsome but still a little surreal.

Our next appointment we have the option to get a quad screening which is for downs syndrome but Leevi and I have already decided not to get it done simply because if it happens it happens and it is one thing that we don't need to worry about. The test can also produce false positives. That is all for now...I am glad that it is Friday and that I have a 3 day weekend :)

School Sucks!

This has to be the worst team I have been on in the 2 years I have been with UOP! We had a project due on Monday and someone managed to turn it in missing 3 pieces of the paper and it wasn't in APA format. So we had to resubmit the paper and only 3 of the 5 team members worked on it. I told my teacher and she asked that we send in evaluation forms so we did and it blew up in our face because she told those people that she had gotten complaints. Then one of the team members wrote a post to give some thoughts on the assignment and what we need to do going forward...it didn't point fingers or attack anyone yet someone decided to reply and start pointing fingers (this is what I mean by it blew up in our face). I am so pissed right now I can't even think straight...anyway I guess life goes on.

Doctors...

We had our first appointment on Friday 10/12 and everything is looking good. I can say that I am happy that appt. is behind us 5 tubes of blook, a cup of pee, and 2hrs later it was finally over thankfully. I am counting down the days until my first trimester is over...being nauseous gets really old really fast! On a side note it has been raining for about 3hrs now but I won't complain because it is much better than snow.
