Lighting

So I have taken the plunge...I bought some real photography lighting. I was hesitant to spend so much money on something like this but I know that it will help me in the long run. This is what I ended up getting....it won't let me copy the picture so here is the link instead.

Stories & Daycare

Here are a couple of conversations we had with Adam last night…he always makes me laugh

 

I said that I might go to Target and Adam said he wanted to go. I told him to go to Target and he proceeded to tell me that he was not big enough and could not drive.

Yesterday morning when I let him pick out his own socks he was taking them out one by one from the bucket and saying “hmmm” and then when we got to his last pair he said “these ones are my favorite”

Last night we asked him if he wanted tacos or hamburgers and he did the same thing he did with the socks which was so funny.

 

Adam’s first day of his new daycare was yesterday and he did pretty well. I dropped him off and stayed for 30 minutes trying to get him to let me go on his own but that did not happen. Ms. Jodi who is there every morning held him while I left…he was crying   I checked on him around 9:30 and Ms. Teresa said he was doing good but had been clingy to Ms. Jodi. When Leevi and I picked him up last night he still seemed to be acting a little shy but the teacher said he had a good day. She said that Adam was also clingy to his teacher, Ms. Mara. The daily sheets are exactly what I have been wanting to get. They tell us how well he ate at lunch, how well he interacted with the kids, how well he listened to the teacher, and what they learned that day. Ms. Mara said that Adam really liked zoophonics. I think it is going to take some time for him to adjust but once he does he is really going to like it. Today was PJ day so he is wearing his batman pjs and they are doing a week long activity with Dr. Seuss since his birthday is this week. I feel really confident that we are going to like this daycare…it only took 3 tries

I know I have been really behind lately with blogging especially about Adam. Here are some random pictures of him.

Here is a story as well...

Leevi took Adam swimming yesterday and when they were done Leevi was putting Adam in his car seat. Adam told Leevi that he didn't want to be buckled and Leevi told him why we all have to be buckled up when driving. Adam then said "it could make me dead?" Oh the things that Adam comes up with!

Wyatt

Wyatt's 1st birthday was February 5th and Erin asked me to take pictures for them so they wouldn't miss anything. We had a great time and Wyatt is a cutie :)

New Daycare

So Adam will be starting his new daycare on Feb. 28th. Leevi and I are both excited about the new center. He will be going to Village Montessori.

A lady I worked with at the bank has a 3 year old granddaughter, Gabbi, and she wanted to get pictures of her with her mommy and auntie. She was not in the greatest mood either but we worked with it and got some cute pictures.

Baby Jojo

I had a photo shoot with baby Jojo today and I am pretty happy with how they turned out considering she cried for about 30 minutes before she would let us take pictures. Here are some of my favorites.

Christmas 2010

Well…I am behind my mom and sister for posting about Christmas but thought I would share anyway. Our Christmas started on the Sunday before Christmas. On Sunday we let Adam open his presents from us and Santa. On Monday I left work early and headed to Leevi’s parents with Adam and we had our Christmas with them. Unfortunately Leevi was unable to celebrate this Christmas as he got his promotion and switched shifts so he came later. He was also sick which made things a little stressful. We got on the plane Tuesday morning to head to my parents house. This was the first Christmas we had all been together for since 2004! Adam did amazing on the plane and 6 hour car ride both ways. It was wonderful to get to see family and friends, eat at my favorite restaurants, and see the ocean. This was also our first time meeting Carson…he is such a cutie. I will admit that I hogged him while I was visiting   Here are some pictures from our visit

So here we are in 2011…Adam will be 3 this year! I can’t believe how time has flown. No resolutions for me although I have many goals for the year. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2011!
