Well we have had our house on the market for over 70 days now but no offers yet. We have been trying to find out perfect house and we think we have found it! We started off thinking we were going to build a quad level like we have now but weren’t sure we wanted to go through the building process. Then we found a house that had just been built and decided to put in an offer. The builder came back with a counter offer and we decided to reject their counter offer so we were back at square one. We realized that in order to get exactly what we wanted we were going to need to build so we decided to go back to the original builder and ask him to build the house below.
We are crossing our fingers that everything is going to work out with this house.
It is that time of year again…Frontier Days. I always dread the traffic and just how busy the city gets when Frontier Days rolls around. This year was the first year that Adam was able to really enjoy all the activities. I took him to a parade on Saturday and then on Tuesday his daycare went to the parade. On Wednesday Leevi kept him out of daycare and took him to the pancake breakfast and then to watch the Thunderbirds air show. On Sunday we took him out to the park and let him ride some of the rides and we looked around the exhibit halls.
I am trying to catch up finally. On the Fourth of July we decided to go up into the Snowy Mountains and get away from the heat. We took a picnic lunch and just walked around. It was amazing how much snow was still up in the mountains. In the evening we let Adam do sparklers, snakes, and poppers.

While the drive was long, it was a wonderful trip. The long drive gave Daffney and I lots of time to catch up and talk about life. The visit with my family was great as my uncle and his family had not met Adam. It’s always good to spend time with my Grandma as well.
