Last week Adam had a rash and as mysteriously as it appeared it disappeared.
We are also looking at building a house…not sure if we can sell our house right now though so we will see what happens.

It has been quite some time since I have posted as we have been very busy trying to figure out what is wrong with Adam. He has been a medical mystery for the past month. We went to Children’s Hospital in Denver which was a wonderful experience. The facility is newer and I was amazed by everything. We had to where name tags and verify is appointment for security and the people there were actually able to draw his blood unlike the people in Cheyenne. We are still waiting on test results but he is finally over the flu which is a really good thing. The past week he just looked pathetic and didn’t move from this position for about three days. I am just happy that I have my little boy back :)
This past weekend we went to Estes Park for a much needed break. It was wonderful to be able to lay around and do nothing for a couple of days. We stayed at a place called Wildwood Inn and it was only 1/4 mile from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Adam is 14 months today and continues to amaze me everyday. He is learning sign language at daycare and can regularly use please and more. He will also point to himself when you say Adam or you. He is using a fork and getting both of his bottom teeth. He is becoming such a big boy and so independent.
His first hair cut at the salon

After…
He loves to clean mommy’s floors
I promise we did not torture him to get this picture…he just does not like people playing with his mouth.
While Leevi was in DC for a week long class with the fire department, Adam and I had a few visitors. Kelsey and Lulu came to see us for 5 days which was wonderful. We went to the zoo and Frontier Days and they watched Adam while I had to work. Then Daffney came and stayed with me for a couple of days. Here are some pictures…
He has never really liked sweets but he LOVES strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting!
On another note Cheyenne does a craft fair during Christmas and my supervisor wants to get a bunch of us together to do a table and she thinks I should sell my pictures but I am not too sure about that yet…we will see.
Every time Adam hits another milestone it is hard for me to believe and makes me a little sad that he is becoming a little boy. By 13 months he was off the bottle, formula, and baby food. He pretty much did it all on his own now if only he would get a tooth. The doctor is not worried so I am not going to be either. He is also wanting to use a fork…
He was standing in the tub and getting his hands wet and them attempting to wash himself off…he seems so young to be becoming so independent. He is also helping get himself dressed and undressed and is always trying to put his own shoes on.
I am sick once again…I am so tired of getting so sick and I understand that daycare has a lot to do with it but it just seems excessive to me. I am going to a new doctor on Friday in the hopes that I can healthy again.
Last weekend we sanded and stained our mantel to a lighter color and I am going to be dying the grout to a light gray instead of the awful black color it is now.
Sorry its Christmas but its the only before picture I could find
Here is the after pictures.
This weekend was great…nice weather and lots of family time. Adam had a lot of first experiences this weekend…first time swinging at the park, his baby pool, and bubbles :) Sorry but I only have pictures of the park
We had a wonderful time exploring Victoria, Canada last week. I can’t believe I took 700 pictures while we were there!
On Sunday we went to brunch at The Marina and wondered around Victoria. We also were able to see 3 harbor seals that were all pregnant.
The Empress Hotel
The Parliament building
In one of the parks there was a petting zoo that we took Adam to.
On Monday we went to Tree Go which is a tree ropes course which was a lot of fun…
On Tuesday we went whale watching which was such an amazing experience!
Wed. we went to Butchart Gardens…absolutely gorgeous!
Our rental house was wonderful and a great place to get pictures of bald eagles
So many more pictures to share but its time for bed. One last picture though…
I GRADUATED FINALLY!!!!
