2 months

We took Adam to the doctor on Wednesday for his 2 month check up. He weighs 12 pounds 7.5 ounces and is 23 3/4 inches long. He is average for weight and above average for length. He got 3 shots and some mouth drops. He did really well just cried when they poked him and then settled down and went to sleep. I just can't believe how fast time has gone...I start working again on Monday and am not looking forward to it.

California

We went to California for 10 days so everyone could meet Adam. Adam took his first plane ride and did great...he didn't cry at all and we actually had one lady stand up to get off the plane and say I didn't even know there was a baby behind me. I had been so worried that he was going to scream and annoy everyone so it was wonderful that he was good.

We went to the farmers market the first Saturday we were there. I miss all the fresh fruit and vegetables.

8 weeks

It's hard to believe that Adam is already 8 weeks old..time is flying by. Here are some recent pictures of him.

Lucky

We had a lucky day on Thursday. I had been wanting a Coach purse and Leevi said he would get me one for my birthday so we went to look at purses and I found one for 40% off...

We had also been looking for Wii Fit which has been sold out everywhere and we found one at Gamestop...here is Leevi doing the tree pose for yoga (he would kill me if he knew I put this on here :) )

Finally I looked in the mail and I received my check back that I sent to pay Adam's medical bills because the account had a zero balance they said. Then today I got the mail and we got a $50 gift card for Target which was nice because I needed to buy diapers and a bookshelf for Adam's room.

6 wks

Time is flying by...I can't believe that he is already 6 weeks old and that the summer is almost over. I am not looking forward to going back to work full time and taking him to daycare so hopefully I will get the job I applied for so I can stay home...keep your fingers crossed for me. Here are some recent pictures...

Daffney came to meet Adam. It was great to see her...we went and got coldstone and found a place for Sierra to be boarded while we go out to Cali.

He loves tummy time...he just talks away when we lay him on his tummy.

I can't believe I am even writing this when Adam is only 6 weeks old...he went to bed at 9:30 last night and didn't get up until 5:30 this morning. Now I can only hope that this is going to continue on but I will at least be thankful for the one full night of sleep I got :)

A Great Day!

Today we took a trip to Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park.

I was really bummed because we saw 3 big horn sheep but they were in a place where we could not pull over to take pictures. Here is some of the other wildlife we saw...

I can't believe Adam is 1 month old already...he is growing so quickly.

For Mom

While Anne was here Leevi did put up the new mailbox after we bought a new post and he got the potato bush up on a trellis.

I don't know what this flower is but it is pretty and came out of no where...we have been here for almost 2 years and it has never bloomed before.

Family

It was so nice to have my family here over the first three weeks. Everyone helped out so much and we are so appreciative for everything they did. It was great that my grandma was able to come and meet Adam as well. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again in August!
