We had our own Easter on Saturday since Leevi worked on Easter Sunday. The Friday before Easter his daycare had a little party and he got to be painted like a bunny.

So the last thing Leevi and I need is another dog but I found out about boxerdoodles and think they are the cutest dogs!
I took an Access class all week and have enjoyed myself so much. I am such a NERD! So now I want to get Microsoft Pro Office so that I can get Access at home or just get a new computer :)

Life has been busy it seems in our house but recently we realized how important it is that we cherish the time with Adam and each other because we never know what tomorrow will bring. A few weeks ago a fellow firefighter lost his 4 month old little girl to SIDS. This event effected Leevi and I so much because while Adam is pretty much past the SIDS age, there are still other things that could happen to any of us. I have been getting less frustrated with Adam and just enjoying the crazy things he does at this age! We recently went to the Children’s Village which was so fun…he enjoyed the sandbox and running back and forth over the bridge. Each new thing he learns and each new word he says are such special moments to us. I couldn’t ask for a better more loving family!
My good friend had her little boy last Friday. He weighs 5 lbs 12 oz and is absolutely adorable!
This is Adam tonight at Dinner. As soon as he sees a camera he is smiling. I can’t believe he is now 20 months. He is talking quite a bit, knows most of his animal sounds, recognizes people and knows their names, loves his daycare, loves his puppy and cats, and is very independent!
He thinks he needs to drink from a regular cup now.
Our Christmas this year was hectic between lots of family and bad weather. Adam and I went down to Leevi’s parent’s house on Christmas Eve to celebrate with the Kantens and Leevi came down on Christmas Day to celebrate with his mom’s side of the family. There were over 20 people on Christmas Day and we were both anxious to get home and celebrate with just our family. Here are a few pictures…

A lot has happened since I last posted so here is an update. My parents came for Thanksgiving this year and the day we went to pick them up we stopped at Denver Children’s Museum. They have an area just for kids under 4 and they require you to take off your shoes. They also have a train room, a fire exhibit, a vet exhibit, a grocery store and diner, an art area, and an area where you can create things using paper tubes, milk jugs, etc. It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to going back.
Adam’s daycare is wonderful! They were learning about pajamas so they had a pajama day. They also rented out a community building and had a Christmas party.I have a video of his Christmas program but can’t get it to load so I will try later.
Last but not least Daffney came over to Cheyenne and we went to dinner. It was so good to see her!
